Just Jay

Last night I went to scouts for the first time. It was really really really fun. Me and My brother are in different patrols which was quite good because we got some time away from each other. We played Quicket which is sort of cricket with a football. We’re starting to make a go cart next week, one for each patrol. My patrol’s is going to be the best!

Before scouts I went to my friend J’s house to hang out. We played on his Wii - Super Mario Galaxy, which is a game we were going to buy so it was nice to see how good it was. Sometimes we go to the park to play football too but we didn’t have the time last night because we had scouts.

In the night after we got back from scouts, we watched Hugh’s chicken run. It was all about different ways chickens are kept and it was really sad - my mum even cried!!!

Today we did loads of maths and some art. I made a picture of a sunset in the countryside for art. After we went down the park to play with some friends.

Today we are expecting a visit from my cousins R and B, we haven’t seen them for two weeks so it will be nice to see them again.

We went to the library the other day and I picked up four books: Northern Lights (The Golden Compass), The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass and the eyewitness guide to Archaeology.

I hope to see the Golden Compass soon but would like to have read the book first, so far I am only at chapter three but I think it is brilliant.

Got to go now because my cousins will be here soon.

We have loads of pets in our house. A german Shephered dog called Tessa, three cats called Milly, Oscar and Calico. Calico has three brand new kittens born on 3rd Ocober. Here is a photo of them when they were 3 days old…

We also have a rabbit called Dylan. He’s about 5 years old and the friendliest rabbit I’ve ever met.
